ACF Christmas Party!

We will not be meeting this Friday, but we will be having our Christmas Party this Thursday (Dec 4) instead at 6pm! Meet us in the Multifaith Room – the same place we had our Coffeehouse. Get ready for some games, carols and food! Most importantly, let’s take this time to reflect on what Christmas is really about and why we celebrate it! Come and have some fun with us before finals and invite your friends too. Remember to bring $2 for food. Hope to see you all there!
Here’s the link to the Facebook event.

Jesus Week: Jan 12-16
Just like you heard last Friday, Jesus Week is our collaboration event with the other Christian clubs. We hope to spread the love of Jesus to everyone on campus. If you would like to help out with Jesus Week, let us know! Also, if you want more info, just talk to any of the exec. Please keep this event in your prayers, that God would give us many opportunities share the Good News!

With the start of Advent this week, let us spend some time meditating on our need for a Saviour and truly thanking God for His gift of love, grace and mercy!

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

Ephesians 2:4-9 (ESV)
